My name is Cole Kachinski. I am a musician and artist. First of all I have been playing piano for two years. About three years ago my friend let me borrow his acoustic guitar. it was a small for an acoustic guitar but it had a good sound. I started to learn a little bit of guitar and my brother also started to learn on my friend's guitar. For my birthday that year, my parents bought me a Fender Starcaster acoustic guitar. It was awesome, and from there I started learning guitar. My brother and I started to take lessons every tuesday. By Christmas of that year we both wanted electric guitars. Instead my dad bought a piano that we could use if we wanted but it was still his. Needless to say I was bummed out but on Christmas day two years ago I decided to learn "Mary Did You Know" because that was the only song my dad printed out. When I told my dad about this he taught me the basics of piano and all the scales. I knew piano was what I wanted to play. soon after I wanted a video piano lesson course that was $200. my dad wanted to make sure I was committed so he said that I had to master all the scales and be able to play them without looking. About two weeks later I was ready. My dad tested me on the scales for about an hour. Once I completed the test my dad told me he already had bought the course for me and he gave me the course. Now two years later I play on my church band and play piano every day. I am now so thankful that my dad bought a piano instead of a guitar.
